How this works
Unlike the other tools on this site, Word to PDF needs a server: converting a real Office document requires the actual layout engine, which can't run in a browser. Your file is uploaded, converted with LibreOffice running headless, and streamed straight back as a download — the uploaded file and the converted PDF are both deleted from the server as soon as that happens.
