Most tools never leave your browser
Word Counter, Zakat Calculator, BMI Calculator, Case Converter, JSON Formatter, Compress Image, Loan/EMI Calculator, Image Converter, Merge PDF, Currency Converter and HEIC to JPG all run entirely client-side using JavaScript in your browser. Files you choose for these tools are never uploaded anywhere — we have no way to see them.
Tools that use our server
Word to PDF, PDF to Word and Audio Converter need a real conversion engine that can't run in a browser, so your file is uploaded temporarily. It's processed and the result is streamed back to you, and both the uploaded file and the converted copy are deleted from the server immediately afterwards — within the same request, not just "within an hour."
Cookies
We use two small, non-tracking cookies: one for standard security (CSRF protection on upload forms) and one random, anonymous identifier used only to apply a fair daily usage limit on the three server-side tools above, so they stay free and available for everyone. Neither cookie identifies you personally, and we don't use them for advertising or analytics tracking.
Accounts and ads
Toolwio doesn't currently have user accounts, logins, or active advertising. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to explain exactly what's collected and why before it goes live.
