Why does text copied from a PDF have broken line breaks?
PDFs store text by its position on the page, not as flowing paragraphs, so copying it often carries over a line break at the end of every visual line rather than only at the end of each paragraph.
Will this remove line breaks between paragraphs too?
It treats every line break the same way, so for text with intentional paragraph breaks, you may want to keep those as line breaks and only clean up the broken mid-sentence ones manually afterward.
