About this tool
This is the reverse of the site's CSV to JSON tool — for exporting JSON data (from an API response, a config file or a script output) into a CSV file that opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
How to use it
- Paste a JSON array of objects into the left box.
- The CSV output appears on the right automatically, using the object keys as column headers.
- Copy the result and paste it into a spreadsheet, or save it as a .csv file.
Frequently asked questions
What if my objects have different keys?
The column headers are built from every key found across all objects, and any object missing a particular key just gets an empty cell for that column.
Does it handle commas and quotes inside values correctly?
Yes — any value containing a comma, quote or line break is automatically wrapped in quotes and escaped, following standard CSV formatting rules.
Can I convert a single JSON object instead of an array?
Yes — a single object is treated as a one-row CSV with its keys as headers, the same as a one-item array would be.
